A veteran of several jury trials and a Best Lawyers in America® honoree, Dan helps victims of personal injury and medical malpractice and the families of wrongful death victims achieve just compensation for their losses suffered due to the negligence of other persons or companies.
VIDEO: Meet Dan Harrington
Dan is a former Assistant Attorney General for the State of Arizona. In that position he represented the State in cases in which the State was a defendant. He gained valuable knowledge of insurance, negligence and other issues that, today, help him effectively represent his clients in achieving just compensation for their injuries.
“I often meet clients during the most difficult times of their lives. It has been my honor to work closely with families that have lost a loved one. By the end of my work as their lawyer, I feel like I actually got to meet their loved one because of our time together. I take great pride in working to hold the responsible party accountable to try to prevent others from suffering similar tragedies. On numerous occasions, I have had the gratifying experience of setting up college funds for children who have lost a parent.
“I spend a great deal of time poring over the details of my clients’ cases. In fact, in two significant cases, I was able to show that the initial investigative reports in those cases mistakenly concluded that my clients’ loved ones were responsible for their own death. In one of those cases, the family had contacted five other law firms about taking the case, but all of those firms refused because they failed to go beyond the initial government report. Thankfully, both families made substantial recoveries which helped them get through the tragedy and emotional and financial upheaval of losing a loved one.
“Sometimes an injury leaves a client unable to work and support their family. I make it my goal as their lawyer to ensure that the best possible award is obtained to assist them going forward in their life following a traumatic event.”
Dan was born in Omaha, Nebraska. Dan and his wife, Bridget, have three children and a grandson.
