Ashley Fitzgibbons launched her legal career at Gallagher & Kennedy in Phoenix, where she gained hands-on litigation experience in diverse areas of law, including personal injury claims, trust and estate controversies, and employment litigation.
In bringing her legal knowledge and skill to Fitzgibbons Law, Ashley extends the firm’s 50-year legacy to the third generation of Fitzgibbons attorneys. She is a granddaughter of firm founder David A. Fitzgibbons, Jr. (1930-1995) and daughter of senior partner Denis Fitzgibbons and Casa Grande Mayor-Elect Lisa Navarro Fitzgibbons.
Ashley is a National Trial Lawyers “Top 40 Under 40” selectee and a Best Lawyers in America® “Ones to Watch” honoree in Commercial Litigation, Labor and Employment Litigation, Trust and Estate Litigation, and Personal Injury Litigation (Plaintiffs).
A Casa Grande native, Ashley attended Casa Grande Union High School and earned her bachelor’s degree at Loyola University Chicago. Before entering law school, she earned a master’s degree in secondary education and served with Teach for America as a high school English teacher in Phoenix.
During her service with Teach For America, Ashley was inspired to continue her advocacy for others, and she decided to pursue a career in law. During law school, she worked with the Maricopa County Public Defender Clinic, volunteered with the Arizona Legal Center, and served as a teaching assistant for various courses, including contracts, legal analysis, torts, and constitutional law.
Ashley also mentored Arizona high school students for regional and national moot court competitions through the ASU Diversity Pipeline Initiative. She continues this service as a mentor in the Los Abogados’ Charles Calleros Fellowship Pipeline Program, where she mentors young people preparing for law school; and is a mentor with Young & Empowered Women.
